MEETING MINUTES

Special Meeting

October 13, 2003

The special meeting of the Mason County Central Board of Education was held at the Central Business Office of Mason County Central Schools for the purpose of interviewing applicants for the vacant board position.

1] The meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. by President Deering.

Members Present Al Deering, James Dittmer, Nancy Knizacky,

    Others Present Mark Steigenga, Ludington Daily News

    Also present Jeff Barnett, Gena Nelson

    3] CONSENT APPROVAL OF AGENDA

    The agenda was approved by consent

    4] BOARD CANDIDATE INTERVIEWS

    The board interviewed Jeff Barnett and Gena Nelson, followed by a brief recess. Mitch Bogner was unable to attend.

    12] ADJOURNMENT

    A motion was made by Mr. Saxton, seconded by Mr. Letsinger to adjourn.

    The motion carried 5 – 0.

    The special meeting adjourned at7:50 p.m.
